of realgeopolitik. The glorified battles of the war with
Pakistan three years later, tales of impossible victories
won in places like Longewala with Pakistani tank
regiments destroyed, helped partly to heal wounds. But
honour was not really restored till the resounding
victory in Bangladesh, 1971.
