It's
their War Too
There won't be any blood donation for Kargil at the Little Flower School. The 2,000-strong Manipur Network of Positive People (MNP+) comprises AIDs victims fighting a war within. "We may be different from the jawans in battle, yet we identify with them. We too live with uncertainty. For us every day is a battle." says L. Deepak Kumar, MNP+ secretary. Kargil has touched a chord with the marginal people. A small reminder of India's other battles ahead. |
