With Abhishek Bachchan playing Adonis to the babes, this number has got to be a scorcher. Aanchal says he played "the perfect gentleman". We'd sure like to call his bluff. | | | | Strumming Show Bangalore-based classical guitarist Konarak Reddy's ease on the fretboard has taken him places. In November, this 50-year-old became the first Indian to tour Germany as part of the International Guitar Nights 2005. One of the seven selected guitarists, Reddy gave solo renditions at Merseburg, Dresden, Dessau, Halle and Berlin before playing in Poland. "It is not just the guitar, the musicality itself is appealing to me," says Reddy, strumming his way to fame. | | | | French Connection International designing duo Hemant Sagar and Frenchman Didier Lecoanet will now bring Parisian chic to Indian shores. Their label Lecoanet Hemant recently debuted at Ensemble in Mumbai. "The future of the apparel market is bigger in Asia than in Europe," says half-Punjabi, half-Prussian Sagar. From a Parisian boutique to a factory in Gurgaon, it has been a giant leap for the two. | | | | Performing Princess Here is a lawyer who can sing like an angel. Saru Maini of the Maini family, the manufacturers of the electric car Reva, has just released her solo album Ishq Hua. This singer, who drives around Mumbai in a leopard-print Reva, hopes to make her mark in the field of playback singing. Two of her music videos, which are currently on air, have been shot in Morocco and feature Saru as a princess. "I am a performer, so the video is an expression of my song and not merely choreographed dance movements," she says.
