Kool Customer

He is judging international beauty pageants, hosting style awards and now endorsing Hewlett & Packard computers. Even as filmmaker Karan Johar plans the next season of his hit television show Koffee with Karan, he is busy inking endorsement deals. "As a child I had always wanted to smile with a detergent or soap in my hand. Only, it's now become a computer," says Johar. So what next, Karan? A lead role in a Bollywood potboiler? We think it's time for a koffee break.

The Namesake

Actors Perizaad Zorabian and Boman Irani might make an unlikely onscreen pair, but her real-life hero is not the star of Khosla Ka Ghosla. He's a Mumbai-based real estate developer by the same name. Zorabian and her beau Boman Irani are all set to tie the knot in December in a simple private ceremony. While the bubbly actor is mostly forthcoming, she seems reticent to talk about the wedding and prefers to keep details under wraps. Here's wishing happiness to the couple.

BOLLYWOOD MOVES

The Sujal-Kashish love story might have hit a speed-breaker with Rajeev Khandelwal's early exit, but co-star Aamna Shariff continues to mesmerise television viewers in Kaahin To Hoga. And now it looks like adoring audiences might soon lose her to the lure of the big screen. Shariff is ready to go the Bollywood way, having received some "interesting" film offers. And though she's not yet ready to divulge details, she says, "I want my debut to be a hardcore romantic film. I am looking at something different." Maybe like the Sanjay Leela Bhansali film she hopes to act in some day?

'EX' FACTOR

As celebrity judge on Jhalak Dikhla Jaa, Farah Khan was definitely not looking out for the 'ex' factor. The show brought the choreographer-director face-to-face with ex-flame Akashdeep Sehgal, who was unceremoniously ousted from the competition last week. And if there were any rumours about underlying tension between the two, Sehgal sure validated them with his outpourings on Wednesday night. While he rambled on about how she had helped him grow as a person, Khan didn't look too pleased. What a blast from the past.
