Bowled Over

After their steamy MR Coffee ad, blissfully married couple Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora Khan were last seen together in a Shubha Mudgal music video. The duo will now team up to present a cricket quiz show The Cricket Grandmaster for the upcoming World Cup. And while Arbaaz is completely "addicted to cricket," for his bootylicious wife, it is going to be an altogether different ball game. Batting on a new wicket, eh?
Campaign Notes

He's lent his voice to heroes serenading their heroines, but music composer Shankar Mahadevan has sung a vastly different tune this time. He has recorded two songs for Raj Thackeray's election campaign-one in Hindi and the other in Marathi. "Raj is a very good composer himself and we exchange a lot of music because he appreciates music," he says, adding that the music has been given by Atul-Ajay. The two songs will be played at Thackeray's rallies. "The songs say that we aren't going to make any big promises but we want to prove to you what we can do," says Mahadevan.
Lavani Lady

Her acting talents might not have been on display in her recent movies but former beauty queen Tanushree Dutta sure can dance. She is all set to sizzle in a lavani number Mala Laagli Kona Chi Hichki in Vishram Sawant's Risk. "Lavani is a dance form which has been performed by all the leading actresses-from Helenji to Dia Mirza," she says. "My role has more than just the glamour quotient, it is a mature and performance-based role," adds the Bong beauty.
Floor On Fire

She is the uncrowned queen of the catwalk, hardly an "item girl". So it comes as no surprise when Jesse Randhawa refuses to talk about her dance number in Anurag Kashyap's No Smoking, which has been labelled an "item" song. She will dance her way into Bollywood with this unconventional sequence choreographed by Ashley Lobo. Will this be the first in the long line of other dance numbers? Randhawa's not telling.
