PERSONAL FILE: Currently out on bail. Former MLC and MLA. He is Railway Minister Lalu Prasad's brother-in-law.

FIELD WORK: Sanctioned 21 different projects last year amounting to Rs 81 lakh. Of these, only one-the community hall of Vishanpur in Gopalganj-is completed. Blames a hostile state administration for the delay in his projects.

SCORECARD: Spoke 11 times on issues related to bidi workers, human rights, preventing civil war in Sri Lanka, ban on non-iodised salt. Raised the need for the women's reservation bill. Asked three questions.

PERSONAL FILE: A widow, whose husband was shot during aiadmk rule.

FIELD WORK: Spent funds on construction of 20 school buildings, water tanks and women's hostels. Got Rs 163 crore sanctioned for the Tirunelveli-Tiruchendur broad-gauge line. The project had been pending for 20 years.

SCORECARD: Spoke once and briefly in support of reservations. Tabled 230 questions and stalled the House on desecration of Babasaheb Ambedkar's statue in Mumbai.

PERSONAL FILE: Worked as a manager in Whitehall School in Lucknow before becoming an MP.

FIELD WORK: Electrification of nearly 200 villages. Funded tthe renovation of two ancient temples. The Namisharyana temple, a tourist hot spot, is being renovated with Rs 90 lakh.

PERSONAL FILE: Runs a meat export company. Has been suspended from BSP for anti-party activities.

FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 22 lakh on development work in six graveyards. Built roads in Meerut city costing over Rs 44 lakh besides a public school.

SCORECARD: Spoke eight times. Raised the overcrowding of jails in the criminal law bill, rights of women in the domestic violence bill and her constituency needs in the rail budget.

PERSONAL FILE: Does free legal work for the poor, especially illiterate women.

FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 46 lakh on schools, Rs 40 lakh on roads, Rs 18 lakh on community houses.

CONSTITUENCY: Mayurbhanj (ST), Orissa

HOUSE ATTENDANCE: 85/190 (48%)

SCORECARD: Is yet to speak in the House. Asked nine written questions: about allotment of land to political parties, the handicapped, NGOs and guidelines for managing heritage properties.

PERSONAL FILE: State-level professional football player and a three-term MLA. A key aide to JMM supremo Shibu Soren.

FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 70 lakh on hospitals, small health centres and roads. Allotted Rs 17 lakh for a development block where his brother is the contractor. The other six blocks got Rs 5-16 lakh only.

Dharmendra Yadav [SP] 28

SCORECARD: Spoke only once during the Union Budget. Raised the need to conduct elections in BHU. Asked no questions.

PERSONAL FILE: Mulayam Singh's nephew, won a byelection from his uncle's seat. Is so scared of upstaging cousin Akhilesh that he avoids the media and any kind of limelight, preferring to hide in the backbenches.

FIELD WORK: Implemented 42 projects on rural roads, tubewells and primary schools worth Rs 1.12 crore. Also 33 more projects for Rs 74.22 lakh are underway. Developed two assembly seats with state government funds.

Asaduddin Owaisi [AIMIM] 37

CONSTITUENCY: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

HOUSE ATTENDANCE: 135/190 (71%)

SCORECARD: Spoke on six bills including the minority commissions bill and participated in 10 short-duration discussions including the Iran vote. Demanded more funds for minority institutions and asked the government to ensure unemployment is reduced among Muslims. Tabled 545 questions, one about the dwindling population of vultures.

PERSONAL FILE: Son of six-term MP Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi.

FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 36.35 lakh on multi-media computers for 20 schools specially for the education of girl children. Spent on drinking water, sewage lines and sanitation needs. Spent Rs 90 lakh to develop the town of Tandur.

Jyotirmoyee Sikdar [CPM] 37

CONSTITUENCY: Krishnanagar, West Bengal

HOUSE ATTENDANCE: 156/190 (82%)

SCORECARD: Spoke eight times. Focused on issues related to sports and women including sexual harassment in work places. Yet to speak on a government bill. Asked 29 questions.

PERSONAL FILE: A national athlete, won two golds and silver in 1998 Asiad. Got Padmashree and Arjuna award. Worked with the Eastern Railways.

FIELD WORK: Has set up two special tubewells in each of the 91 gram panchayats. Gave Rs 91 lakh for roads, Rs 25 lakh to Krishnanagar College, Rs 20 lakh for audio-visual aid, built a stadium in Devagram on the field where she used to practise.

Akshay Singh [SP] 36

SCORECARD: Yet to speak in the House. Has tabled three questions. Asked for a daily flight between Delhi and Allahabad.

PERSONAL FILE: An ex-MLC who has received the President's Award and Red Cross Award for social work. Joined the SP just before 2004 elections.

FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 1 crore on handpumps, another crore on rural electrification, Rs 2.5 crore on roads and Rs 50 lakh on school buildings.

SCORECARD: Is the party's chief whip. His most important intervention was when he objected to a five-minute rape scene in the TV serial Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Asked 65 questions mainly related to infrastructure. Stormed the well over the desecration of Babasaheb Ambedkar's statue.

PERSONAL FILE: A former MLA close to BSP chief Mayawati. Was chairman of Uttar Pradesh Electronic Corporation.

FIELD WORK: Installed two power sub-stations near Khaga and Jehanabad. Built a network of pucca roads-some not so pucca.

SCORECARD: Bihar-centric performance. Never spoke on any bill or national issue. Raised four special mentions and debated the rail budget but did not go beyond Bihar.

PERSONAL FILE: Wife of jailed RJD MP Pappu Yadav.

FIELD WORK: Still has Rs 4 crore of her fund to spend but complains that the district collector does not pass her projects.

SCORECARD: Raised constituency needs in the rail budget; one special mention on drought-affected farmers. Tabled 169 questions on museums, upkeep of Ajanta and Ellora and plight of small investors.

PERSONAL FILE: Her father is a Congressman but in-laws are from the Shiv Sena.

FIELD WORK: Built roads, schools and public halls in development blocks. Started work on a pipeline in Vashi.
