FIELD WORK: Electrification of nearly 200 villages. Funded tthe renovation of two ancient temples. The Namisharyana temple, a tourist hot spot, is being renovated with Rs 90 lakh. Shahid A. Spoke five times. tabled 124 questions. PERSONAL FILE: Runs a meat export company. Has been suspended from BSP for anti-party activities. FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 22 lakh on development work in six graveyards. Built roads in Meerut city costing over Rs 44 lakh besides a public school. Raised the overcrowding of jails in the criminal law bill, rights of women in the domestic violence bill and her constituency needs in the rail budget. PERSONAL FILE: Does free legal work for the poor, especially illiterate women. FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 46 lakh on schools, Rs 40 lakh on roads, Rs 18 lakh on community houses. PERSONAL FILE: State-level professional football player and a three-term MLA. A key aide to JMM supremo Shibu Soren. FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 70 lakh on hospitals, small health centres and roads. Allotted Rs 17 lakh for a development block where his brother is the contractor. The other six blocks got Rs 5-16 lakh only. Is so scared of upstaging cousin Akhilesh that he avoids the media and any kind of limelight, preferring to hide in the backbenches. Demanded more funds for minority institutions and asked the government to ensure unemployment is reduced among Muslims. Tabled 545 questions, one about the dwindling population of vultures. PERSONAL FILE: Son of six-term MP Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi. FIELD WORK: Spent Rs 36.35 lakh on multi-media computers for 20 schools specially for the education of girl children. Spent on drinking water, sewage lines and sanitation needs. Spent Rs 90 lakh to develop the town of Tandur. Focused on issues related to sports and women including sexual harassment in work places. Yet to speak on a government bill. Asked 29 questions. PERSONAL FILE: A national athlete, won two golds and silver in 1998 Asiad. Got Padmashree and Arjuna award. Worked with the Eastern Railways. FIELD WORK: Has set up two special tubewells in each of the 91 gram panchayats.
