This exploration of a passionate man-woman relationship is a sensitive portrayal of no easy kind of love and the role destiny has to play in it. Rahul Bose of English, August fame in the lead is excellent as the unambitious loner and Uberoi amazes as the mercurial, complex woman who is literally thrown by a twist of fate into his life. Watch out for this one.

MUSIC
Patte Hiltein Hain
(Pen Audio;Rs 40)

With a rather catchy title song, this cassette's ideal for mushy teenybopper listening. No deep, meaningful lyrics here. The only other notable numbers are Hoton pe koi geet hai and Ek ladki mil gayi barsat mein.

This lady can swing from a funky tune (remember Oorja and Roop Inka Mastana) to more sombre ones. This album, filled with slow numbers, is dedicated to her mother and stands out for its haunting music.

It's Whimsy all the way at the end of this road. Chirpy decor with fun furniture and kindergartenish colours, this restaurant is different -- down to its cutlery with twirly ends and attractive posters. Eclectic cuisine, great coffee and desserts to write home about. The Wizard of Oz would have liked this one. Meal for two: approx. Rs 700.
